The Writing Center
at
Souhegan High School

Successful writers are not the ones who write the best sentences. They are the ones who keep writing. They are the ones who discover what is most important and strangest and most pleasurable in themselves, and keep believing in the value of their work, despite the difficulties.   Bonnie Friedman

The Writing Center has moved to Room 209, the quiet room across from the library. Peggy Silva is already working with seniors on their college essays. Make an appointment with her on the calendar outside her door. She is happy to work with struggling writers and with writers who need an audience for their writing.

The Writing Center is available to all members of the Souhegan community who want help with their writing. Contact Peggy Silva, The Writing Center Coordinator, in Room 209, or schedule an appointment in the binder outside Room 209, or e-mail her at psilva@sprise.com.

Writing contest for a national publication - deadline of September 13. Interested students read this full description of the contest. If you are interested contact Peggy Silva in room 209.
