Healthcare Career Expo Southern New Hampshire Health System When: Thursday, November 1, 2007 Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm Where: 10 Prospect St. Conference Rooms A/B/C/D Nashua, NH
Speak with different healthcare professionals: nurses, radiology technicians, laboratory medical technicians, rehabilitation therapists, EMTs.
Interactive displays include: suturing, ultrasound, mixing IV’s, ambulance tours and more. Light refreshments will be served. |

BAE Systems Career Day BAE Systems in Nashua When: Friday, November 9, 2007 Time: School Field trip Where: BAE Systems Spitbrook Rd. Nashua
BAE Systems provides tours of their facility, overview of their work & products, lunch with recent college graduate engineers, introduction to Women in Technology, Explorer’s Post, Summer Internships, FIRST and a panel discussion with members of the BAE team. Girl Leadership Conference Sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Swift Water Council When: Saturday, November 10, 2007 Time: 9:00 – 200pm Where: Legislative Office Concord, NH $10.00 conference fee Register by October 31st
This conference is an opportunity for students to connect with new people and new ideas. A variety of workshops will be offered during two sessions, college representatives, volunteer opportunities and a keynote speech by Lyn Mikel Brown, Ed.D. Technology Day Sponsored by UNH and Microsoft Corporation When: Friday, March 21. 2008 Time: 8:30 – 1:55pm Where: Kinsbury Hall University of New Hampshire Durham, NH
The day will consist of five 50 minute sessions plus a free lunch provided by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft’s Keynote speaker will talk about technology trends and the software economy. Sessions include: - Programming interactive graphics using Alice - Programming computer games using Gamemaker - Demonstrations by the UNH InterOperability Lab, testing data networking technologies through industry collaboration - Demonstrations by UNH Project 54, working to place advanced technology into police cars - Demonstrations by UNH Data Visualization Research Lab - Hands-on LASER demonstrations
