Introduction

What an amazing year you are having!   You have been living in Spain with your host family since September.  You are doing a great job adapting to life in Spain.   A friend of yours from the International Exchange Program has invited you to go to Madrid for the week and, since you are doing so well in your classes, your teachers have approved your absence for the week.  But there is a trade off.  To compensate for the missed class time, you will have to do a special assignment based on the Spanish artwork found in Madrid.   Your teachers want you to go to the Prado Museum and to the Reina Sofia Museum to see the masterpieces of Spain’s finest artists.  Are you ready to study the masters?
