“Chairs for Charity” A program sponsored by
the Amherst Junior Women’s Club. Students will have the opportunity to
showcase their whimsical/artistic ability in painting wooden Adirondack
chairs that will be provided for them. The chairs will be auctioned off
to support local organizations. Chairs need to be completed by April 1st.

Volunteers Needed for a family with special
needs. Students would be a mother’s helper after school for a
couple of hours. The family has two children: ages 1 & 3 years old and
live off Merrimack Rd. Must love children!!! Please see Maggie

Homework Help for the Power Hour – after
school at the Milford Boys & Girls Club. Any day for one hour-
working with 2nd – 5th graders. Please contact:

Local TV/Video Production volunteers needed
Students interested in tv/video production will be trained and
scheduled to film selectman, planning and zoning board meetings for the

Department now recruiting for the position of paid-on-call Firefighter.
Students must be 18 years old and interested in serving their

Big Brothers/Big Sisters An elementary
school child is looking for you to be their role model, hero and
friend! One hour, one afternoon per week at a local after-school
program. Flexible time commitment works around your schedule. Young

Enjoy working with Animals? Volunteers
are welcome any time or day at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill
on the Amherst/Bedford border. Includes all traditional farm work from
caring for the animals, building & painting fences & sheds to repairing
