The costs of the Institute are based upon the number of electives in which a student enrolls and the school district from which the student comes.* The costs per elective are outlined below by school district. Other Costs Books Students should also factor in the cost of books when enrolling in the Institute, which do not get included in the enrollment fee. Students may need to factor in as much as $40.00 for books per class, though most classes will require a book under $20.00. Students will receive a preparatory letter in May which will list the appropriate books they will need to get, though in some cases they may need to wait until decisions are made as a class as to which books will be read. T-Shirts The Institute now offers t-shirts, the cost of which is $15.00. If a student would like a t-shirt, they should check the YES box on the registration form and add the $15.00 to their enrollment fee. Please see the T-Shirts section of the website for the design.

*N.B. Students must enroll in at least one elective to recieve credit, and the maximum number of electives they can receive credit for is two; however students are allowed to attend other classes during the Institute, aside from the one or two in which they officially enroll, without receiving credit and at no extra cost. If students wish to attend the Institute without recieving academic credit, they must still pay the enrollment fee for one elective in order to attend.
