The start date of the Institute is contingent on the number of snow
days the school district (SAU #39) incurs over the course of the year.
For each snow day, the Institute will be moved back one day. If the
student is a non-district (SAU #39) student, special accommodations
will be made for their districts schedule. The Institute, in its entirety,
is scheduled to run for approximately two weeks (Monday through
Friday) beginning 30 June and concluding on 11 July (Friday, 4 July
will be a holiday).

The division to which the student applies and the classes they
choose will dictate what days and at what time the student needs to
be at the school. Students are only required to be in school when
their courses meet. They will receive a schedule and letter of
introduction with other pertinent information in May so that they are
well prepared for June's first day. Regardless of the student's
individual schedule that they receive in May, all students--unless
previous arrangements have been made with one of the faculty--are
required to attend on the first day for an introduction to the entire
program and introductory lectures given by members of the faculty.
