IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING ANGEL SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITY

The Angel course management system has been updated to version 7.3 with a host of new functionality. Using the system will now require a newer browser than was previously necessary. In order to obtain an error free experience we now need to be using Internet Explorer version 7 or later or Firefox version 2 or later. Both may be downloaded free and installed on home systems. Firefox is available at http://www.firefox.com/ . Internet Explorer 7 is available at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx . Firefox requires less computing resources and will work on older systems than Internet Explorer. System requirements are listed at the download sites.

GLOBAL CONNECT

Dear Families,

All of the schools within SAU#39 will be using a  phone notification system, “Global Connect”, which will be used to inform families about early dismissals, and any emergency situation.

Please provide us with any feedback you have with regards to this system. Remember that “Global Connect” will communicate via phone lines—land or cell—but will not access, at this time, email addresses.

Regards,

Gerry St. Amand
