Second Grade Homework and Calendars

Below you will find the Second Grade homework expectations.

 Grade Two—20 minutes per night for four to five nights per week.

 Students need to read and complete at least one choice activity and/or an assigned activity every evening, Monday through Thursday.

Please record the choice activity and initial the calendar each night.

Homework folders are due back to the classroom teacher every Friday.

Language Arts

Please have your child read for at least 10 minutes per night, Monday through Thursday.

Math

In addition to the menu of activities listed below, your child will be assigned specific skill practices to complete and return in his/her folder.

Math homework should be done for 10 minutes per night, Monday through Thursday.
