(re-posted from AMS Newsletter)Information about the AMS Summer Success Program is now posted. Read all about it here! The Summer Success Program is a great way to reinforce skills and gain new ones! Dates and Times: July 8th – July 24th. Classes held Tuesday thru Thursday. Session One - 8:30–10 AM, Session Two - 10–11:30 AM.

Guidance is comprehensive and proactive, working to meet the needs of all students.

Counselors assist students on an individual basis with social, family, emotional, and academic issues on an ongoing or crisis basis.

Small group thematic sessions on specific topics are conducted during the year as needed on various topics.

Counselors provide in-class activities designed to promote personal/social awareness, career exploration, awareness of learning styles and strategies.

Counselors assist in inter-school transition and new-student orientation. The counseling team consists of three counselors who are assigned to a specific grade level and follow the same students throughout their time at the middle school.

Not-So-Secret Service is a school community-service organization that
meets bi-weekly. We organize activities and fundraisers to get students
together and raise money for local and national charities. It's a great
opportunity to help others and also make new friends in school. See
