Why Become a Member of the Boys & Girls Club?
When a child has a membership in the Boys & Girls Club, he or she is free to come to the afterschool program each day, as needed.
If members want to come every day, once a week, or even once a month, they are allowed to do this.
Club Members also receive a discounted price on enrichment courses offered each trimester.
If you anticipate that situations may arise during the school year when your child may need to stay after school in a supervised setting, then you should become a member of the Boys & Girls Club.

The Extended Day runs from 2-6 pm Monday-Friday; this is a drop-in program, however it is not a babysitting service. It is a scheduled daily program club. We run activities for your children. Each week we have a “club” meeting where we discuss what programs the kids like to run.
The Extended Day Club is created for the kids, BY the kids. Each day starts out with Homework Help. This is where the kids get time to do their homework, and ask for assistance if they are stuck on something. After each child has completed his or her homework, we move on to our daily activities. They are designed to be fun and at the same time a learning experience. If you have any questions, please contact Sean at or (603-801-5269).
The Enrichment classes are scheduled in advance as 5-8 week courses to further the education of students in specific cultural and academic areas. Each course cost is dependent on the course topic and courses have a limit for enrollment. Every eight weeks, a new Enrichment registration form is sent out and a deadline for course registration is given. Please note that all registration forms can be handed in person or mailed to 56 Mont Vernon St, Milford NH 03055. The courses fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. We would like to know the days on which your children will be attending, even if this is just an approximation. We like scheduling programs in advance, so knowing numbers of students in regular attendance can help us accommodate all students. Please contact Sean at (603) 801-5269 when your child will not be attending.
Because all the classes and programs are currently held at AMS, we would like to remind you and your children that all school rules apply at all times. We expect your child to respect the property, staff, and all the equipment we use after school. Also, if your child has any special circumstances during the school day (they should have these arrangements for after school also) or anything that may hinder their participation in any of the programs; e.g., allergies, medical conditions, etc., we would like to be kept informed, so as to make the best of your child’s Extended Day and Enrichment experience.
Late Pick-up rules & fees: For every 5 minutes that you are late picking up your child after 6:00 pm, we have instituted a fee of $5.00 per child. Obviously we know emergencies come up, so if you are going to be late, please contact us ASAP on the club cell phone.
