8th Grade Information
8th Grade graduation: June 18, 7 PM in the Gym
Based on the weather report, we will be having the 8th grade graduation ceremony indoors on Wednesday night. Since space is limited, we ask that each student have only 2 guests in attendance. It will be very warm indoors. We will have water available. The ceremony will begin at 7 PM in the AMS gym. Please have the kids arrive between 6:30 and 6:45. The dance will take place immediately afterward in the cafeteria. This dance is for AMS 8th grade students only. No guests will be allowed. It will run until 10 PM. Thank you, and see you on Wednesday!
School will still be in session for 8th graders on June 19.
If your child will be absent on the 19th, be sure to call them in sick, or
send an email to ams@sprise.com.
SHS has a PTSA (Parent Student Teacher Association) that is in great need of volunteers. Please contact either Zoe Quindazzi-Ilaqua (PTSA President) at zoemp30@yahoo.com or Shari Moskowitz at smoskowitz@comcast.net.
8th Grade Celebration: June 17
This is not an AMS event, but rather a private party put on by parents.

Graduation Day, Wednesday, June 18:
Graduation practice is at school during the daytime; team awards will be presented. Parents are welcome to attend at 8 am.
Ice cream social after lunch (students only)
8th Grade Graduation, AMS back lawn, 7 pm.
In the event of rain, it will be held in the gym and only two people will be admitted with each student.
Yearbooks will be given out at school.
Dance is after graduation until 10 pm. No cost for the dance, and no guests will be allowed. This dance is for 8th grade AMS Students only.
Last Day of School, Thursday, June 19:
School will still be in session for 8th graders on June 19.
